I am a registered architect and certified project manager with 11 years professional experience. I studied architecture at UCD School of Architecture, Dublin. Aarhus School of Architecture, Denmark and completed my postgrad at Westminster University in London.

During my studies I completed an Erasmus exchange year in Denmark and an internship year working in Barcelona, Spain. After graduating in 2002, I spent 3 years working in London at RTKL Architects and Norman Foster + Partners. From London I moved to Copenhagen where I have lived for the last 6 years working primarily at Schmidt Hammer Lassen Architects as a specialised design architect and subsequently with the City of Copenhagen as a project manager. I have considerable experience working with international projects in Europe and Asia with a specific focus on design, innovation and sustainability. My experience as a group leader and certification as a project manager, has provided me with extremely competent management, facilitation and leadership skills. As well as english, I speak fluent danish and spanish as well as a solid foundation in german and an understanding of norwegian and swedish.

I am a passionate designer and enjoy the challenge of creating spaces that engage people, connecting them with space, light, density and nature. Project management has been a decisive addition to my skill set providing me with a framework and the tools required to manage the often complex nature of design projects.

I would describe myself as positive, resourceful, service-minded, competitive and professional. I have international experience in various sectors including healthcare, cultural and commercial, with particular experience in international design competitions. I speak four languages fluently.
